Global Education Plus has been actively involved in Central and South America since 2002.  Teams of two to six men and women made six trips in three years.  GEP has provided computers, chalkboards, medicines, school supplies and even schoolhouses.  Over 16,000 textbooks have been given to 60 schools.  GEP as assisted schools in Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina and Uraguay.

Additionally, GEP initiated a very valuable Teacher Certification program in partnership with the Association of Christian Schools International(ACSI). This program provides continuing education for primary and secondary teachers in the Central/South American region. Over 90 teachers have enthusiastically attended the events and are using the skills and Christian values they learned to impact the lives of almost 10,000 children.
