About The Book
MULTIPLE WORLDS TO VISIT!
A world in conflict was presented to us as teens in 1941. Tom Brokaw wrote a very popular book on the 'Greatest Generation.' Simply stated that "world" no longer exists. We were not a perfect generation, but we possessed deep seated quality and respect for life. We knew a little about Economics 101; dollars did not come easy. We also knew something about morals & ethics. Our language was more proper, at least in the presence of ladies. Neighborhoods were more cohesive. Churches were more respected.
The challenge to write came to me in Guatemala as we were visiting select primary-secondary schools. Dr. Stuart Salazar, Director of the ACSI Latin American office, encourated me to write a book about my travels. Later, I accepted the challenge.
At fifty-four, I began to travel the world. No "Five Star" hotels & dining. It was cucumbers, potatoes, small beds, worn out buses and cars with no shock absorbers. Driving with a horn was the norm. Packed in like sardines. Good people - bad people - saints & sinners. Good flights - bad flights- luggage lost. A beautiful world - an ugly world - a hurting world.
"Don't drink the water." Cold shower - adapt to the culture - travel light. Watch your exchange of money - guard your passport, it is your lifeline to home. Do not challenge the Customs officials. Somebody will speak English. Children still have fun, even if their schoolhouse is in a barn...
COME WALK THE WORLD.

About The Author
The Greatest Generation will soon slip into oblivion. Before this became a threat to Malcolm Eudaley, he decided to write. He did not discover he was old until he touched 83. Having lived in the days of the Great Depression, he moved on to the Navy in WWII and eventually received a degree from the University of Oklahoma. In his quest to find a place of significance, he worked in the business world for four years.
Later a strong response to becoming a Pastor surfaced. For twenty plus years, he served in this capacity. This was followed by entering into an arena of global interest. An opportunity to be in relationship with World Vision International was offered. This was to become not only a geographical and cultural experience, but also an "on sight" viewing of the great needs of people who reside on this earth.
Travel with Malcolm as he shares the early stories the made up his life, followed by "setting the wheels down" on dozens and dozens of airports around the world. The meeting of total strangers and becoming friends as their stories were revealed will expand your view in relating to the needs of the world. These personal stories of life and travel will stretch your view and expand your vision.

MULTIPLE WORLDS TO VISIT!
It happened in a hotel room one night in Guatemala. My friend, Dr. Stuart Salazar, Director of the Association of Christian Schools International for Latin American, laid a challenge before me. "Malcolm, your should write a book." Later, back in the U.S., encouragement continued to rise as my wife and I were in conversation with our three daughters. The decision was made.
I was fortunate to have been born during the "Greatest Generation." We were presented a world in conflict. Tom Brokaw wrote of these times. Simply stated, that "world" no longer exists. We were not a perfect generation, but we possessed a deep-seated quality and respect for life. We knew something about Economics 101. Morals and ethics were more defined. Language was more civil. We could communicate without using crude language, at least in the presence of ladies. Neighborhoods were more cohesive. The places of worship were highly respected.
At fifty-two, I began to travel the world, making about 50 trips. No "Five Star" hotels and dining. It was cucumbers- potatoes - carp - tomatoes - malnourished chicken - pork -bad beds - small beds - worn out buses - driving with a horn was the norm - risk-taking - packed in like sardines - good people - bad people - saints & sinners - good flights - bad flights - luggage lost - a beautiful world - a hurting world - don't drink the water - cold showers - no showers - adapt to the culture - travel light - watch your exchange of money - do not challenge the Customs officials - someone will speak English - children still have fun, even if they are attending school in a barn.
I invite you to "Come Walk the World".
